Job Summary
Machinist (Manual/CNC Lathe + Manual/CNC Mill) in Lebanon, PA. Set up and operate manual and CNC milling machines, boring mills, and lathes to machine parts from castings and bar stock to tight tolerances (as close as .0002”). Read blueprints and specifications, select tools and speeds/feeds, and perform minor CNC edits with G/M codes. Participate in fixture/jig design, inspect parts with precision tools, maintain production records, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Shift options include 2nd and 3rd with training on 1st shift; facilities feature Doosan, Matsuura, Mori-Seiki machines. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or advanced machining education preferred
- Previous machining experience in manual and/or CNC environments strongly preferred
- Ability to set up and operate manual machine tools independently
- Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipment
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Familiarity with CNC machining including G and M code editing
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
