Job Summary
Operate and maintain CNC lathes to machine large aerospace components with precision, interpreting technical drawings and optimizing equipment for maximum efficiency. Perform quality checks using advanced measuring tools to ensure compliance with strict standards while collaborating with engineering teams to address machining challenges. Maintain machinery and adhere to safety protocols for complex, large-scale part production. Requires 5+ years of experience with GD&T and large part fixturing, with mandatory night and day shift availability. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing setting, with significant exposure to large part machining
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and CNC programming for complex components
- Proven ability to machine high-performance alloys used in aerospace applications
- Experience with large-scale production processes, including setup and fixturing for oversized parts
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
