Job Summary
Machining Operator (Mid Level) responsible for setting up and operating NC machine tools (milling machines, vertical lathes, drilling machines) to produce geometries from drawings and project requirements. Includes aligning/fastening parts, determining workpiece zero points, tool pre-setting, and ensuring dimensional tolerances per ISO/ASME standards. Must read technical drawings, comply with safety/quality procedures, track operation times, and manage parts movement with hoists or cranes. Requires professional/technical diplomas, minimum 2 years NC tooling experience, and Italian/English at B1 level; must be available for three shifts at the Monfalcone site in Italy. Salary information provided in the posting relates to gross base pay in Italy and varies with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Professional or Technical school diploma
- Minimum 2 years of experience with NC machine tools
- Knowledge of Italian language (min B1)
- Knowledge of English language (min B1)
- Ability to work three shifts: 6:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00
