Machining Engineer

Machining Engineer responsible for assisting in the plan, design, purchase, and implementation of machining processes and equipment in an industrial plant. Supports determination of parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals such as setup reduction and changeovers according to product specifications; collaborates with engineering to identify problems and recommends solutions or enhancements. Assists with the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs equipment engineering design evaluations and documents results; may recommend alterations to improve quality of products and procedures. Aims to improve equipment availability and capability by utilizing continuous improvement tools and working cross-functionally.
