Job Summary
Design and coordinate integration of machinery such as CNC lathes, mills, and robotic controllers into the manufacturing process by developing equipment specifications, G-code programs, and cost analyses. Oversee installation, test machine capabilities, and resolve system malfunctions while determining maintenance tasks and service schedules to ensure prescribed operating conditions. Develop alternate processing models to improve production methods and quality, conduct equipment training programs, and adhere to QS 9000 and MS 9000 system policies. Collaborate with cross-departmental personnel to implement operating procedures and stay current with field developments through seminars.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- three to five years related experience

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
