Machines & Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

Job Summary
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all CNC equipment while coordinating planned activities with production to minimize downtime. Create, issue, and monitor maintenance work orders, tracking backlogs and ensuring timely completion across the facility. Monitor machine downtime, support root cause analysis, and generate weekly and monthly maintenance reports to improve performance metrics. Manage critical spare parts inventory, coordinate procurement, and oversee external contractors and OEM service providers. Act as the key liaison between Maintenance, Production, Purchasing, and external providers to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Support TPM and Lean Manufacturing initiatives, participate in OEE improvement projects, and maintain safety documentation including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, or maintenance administration within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with CNC machining equipment
- Proficiency with CMMS software
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any required security clearances related to defense and controlled goods programs
Desired Qualifications
- Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial disciplines
- Experience in a high-volume CNC machining environment
- Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement experience
- Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
