Machinery Technician - Monroe, NJ

Repair and maintain Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar paving and construction equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Complete tasks with little to no supervision. Remove, install, disassemble, and assemble components. Adhere to safety standards including contamination control and HAZMAT regulations. Verify findings, review readings of gauges, and compare to manufactured specifications. At end of shift, secure equipment and complete required paperwork. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures. Responsible for parts ordering and inventory management; preparing and prepping equipment in a rental shop environment.
