Job Summary
Manage Shop Technicians and jobs in progress daily, establishing clear documentation for shift transitions and communicating workload with Customer Service Representatives. Review and monitor daily productivity, weekly expense and overtime reports, and maintain customer updates in the Cat Interact Program. Check repair history and open service letters before starting jobs, close service calls, and complete warranty checklists with full accountability. Perform weekly shop inspections, model safety practices, and ensure Technicians complete JHA forms, lock out machines, wear proper PPE, and maintain clean work areas through daily safety observations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years experience in the heavy equipment industry with progressive maintenance/repair supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
