Job Summary
Machinery Operator for cabinetry cutting and assembly: operate beam saw, CNC routers, and edge banding machines to produce machined wood parts, program/set up each machine, and maintain quality and safety standards. Maintain and perform basic machine maintenance, record production and quality data, and communicate job information to the shop floor. Collaborate with teammates to meet production schedules, stay current with product specifications, and complete training on machinery. Must have cabinetry/woodworking experience, be able to lift 50–100 lbs, and communicate in English; strong math skills and attention to detail are required.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of woodworking experience
- Cabinetry builder experiences
- Math skills: understand addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions and decimals
- Problem-Solving Skills: diagnose machine performance, improve output, fix errors
- Attention to Detail: operate precision equipment
- Stamina: long periods of standing and repetitive movement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and slide products weighing 50lbs to 100lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
