Machine Vision Solutions Engineer

Job Summary
Lead installation, integration, and support of advanced industrial systems including machine vision tunnels, RFID solutions, and robotics. Conduct site assessments to verify infrastructure readiness, diagnose complex technical issues, and perform preventive maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Serve as the primary technical contact during installations, providing expert guidance on system calibration and mentoring junior technicians. Develop and maintain installation guides, wiring diagrams, and detailed service reports. Manage complex projects across multiple locations with minimal direct supervision, delegating work to project resources as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Technical four-year degree, but experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- 5+ years in field service or installation roles
- advanced experience in: Machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Basler, Matrox, Teledyne/FLIR)
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and decision making
- Proactivity and self-direction
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Travel may be required for company events, training, and customer visits
- Primary language used in daily operations is English
- Read and interpret documents, procedure manuals, and various correspondence from both internal and external
- Speak effectively, both individually and before groups of both external customers and/or various levels of employees within the organization
- Able to take accountability and responsibility for business target delivery and decision-making
