Job Summary
Develop and deploy machine-vision based automated inspection and measurement solutions for 3M manufacturing operations; perform system integration and application engineering focusing on opto-mechanical systems, machine vision, and automation; identify, filter, and prioritize internal requirements and design, develop, and implement machine vision solutions to meet those needs; collaborate within a team to solve manufacturing challenges and provide ongoing Tier 2 support for installed infrastructure; work with Cognex and Zebra platforms and integrate machine vision with robotic/automation manufacturing operations; travel up to 25% (US & international) with on-site work at the Maplewood, MN location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
- Two (2) years professional machine vision experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional Requirements
