Machine Tool Technician

Job Summary
Deliver preventative maintenance and repair support for machine tool equipment, ensuring all repairs meet internal and external audit standards while managing parts procurement and inventory. Maintain accurate risk assessments, adhere to health and safety protocols, and participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across work areas supporting over 150 test systems. Diagnose faults on CNC machine tools and resolve time-sensitive issues under pressure within a collaborative maintenance team. This role involves a 2-weekly rotating AM/PM shift pattern onsite in Tewkesbury, GBR.
Required Qualifications
- A vocational qualification in engineering
- 5+ years' experience in hydraulic, mechanical, mechatronic, and CNC machine maintenance roles
- Proven experience working with and diagnosing faults on Mazak, Star, Okuma, or similar CNC machine tools
- Familiarity with electronic circuits, CNC controls, machine tool diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of robotics systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with Indysoft, Teamcenter, and PIRANA
- A proactive, trustworthy approach with high personal standards and a commitment to team success
- 2-Week Rotating AM/PM Shifts
