Job Summary
Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components of CNC machines and associated systems including coolant tanks and transfer tanks. Coordinate training for junior technicians, manage spare parts, and implement Total Production Maintenance (TPM) measures. Repair failed components such as pumps and sensors, and support machining equipment installations. Requires an Associates degree in mechanical or electrical maintenance and extensive experience in machining maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance
- 5 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment
- Completion of apprenticeship or training program and 7 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to change shifts and occasionally be on call when production requires
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines
- Advanced knowledge and experience with machine tool control CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D CNC)
- Advanced knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists
- Advanced mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, carpentry, lubrications, and repair of production machines
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Intermediate interpersonal skills
- Intermediate organizational, planning and follow-up skills
- Intermediate oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions products, policies, and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of MTM parts washers, Knoll coolant systems, LTA filter system
- Strong knowledge of Manual Machining Equipment
- Strong knowledge of total productive maintenance principles (TPM)
- Strong knowledge of SAP
- Fluent in German and English
