Job Summary
Perform repair, maintenance, and alignment of precision industrial machine tools, including CNC and robotic systems. Independently troubleshoot malfunctions, determine root causes, and recommend repairs within manufacturer tolerances. Plan electrical and mechanical disassembly, reassembly, and replacement of components like bearings and spindles. Execute preventive maintenance, modifications, and functional diagnostic tests while utilizing the Computer Maintenance Management System for work orders. Comply with all safety programs, OSHA regulations, and manufacturer specifications. Maintain a clean work area and document all changes to machine tools. Requires over five years of precision industrial machine tool experience and proficiency in PLC operations.
Required Qualifications
- >5 years of precision industrial Machine tool experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Industrial Technology Certification, or equivalent
- Familiarity of machine tool controllers, software ladder logic and diagnostic test equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software applications
- Must pass the following pre-employment screenings: Background Screening, Physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Not a foreign national applicant that requires or will require sponsorship tied to a specific employer (H, L, TN, F, J, E, O)
