Machine Technician

Job Summary
Operate and lead key machinery, striving for efficient output of quality products. Set up, operate and adjust machinery. Perform changeovers and washes that meet or exceed specifications. May be responsible for breaking co-workers. Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor. Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements. Perform basic maintenance/controls, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds. Must be able to pass a background check. No sponsorship is offered for this role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred
- mechanically inclined preferred
- fully trained and experienced in the operation of one production machine as defined at each plant and/or equivalent work experience
- strong verbal and written communications skills
- ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends
- must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements
