Job Summary
Machine Technician at Kieser Australia responsible for preventative, scheduled and reactive maintenance of Kieser’s strength-training equipment across a national clinic network; diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; record maintenance activities and asset data; provide technical support to clinic teams; coach Machine Care Coordinators; assist with machine installations, commissioning, relocations, and new clinic openings; contribute to training materials and continuous improvement of maintenance practices; build strong relationships with clinic teams and act as a key point of contact for machine-related matters; travel interstate as required across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid working rights in Australia
- 2–5 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical, or equipment maintenance
- Proven experience in preventative and reactive maintenance environments
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Willingness and ability to travel interstate as required
- Physical capability to undertake manual handling and equipment installation activities
Desired Qualifications
- ·Trade qualification in Mechanical, Engineering, Electrical or a related discipline.
- ·Experience working with fitness, rehabilitation, medical or specialised equipment.
- ·Experience using maintenance management or asset management systems.
- ·Folk lift licence
