Job Summary
Machine Technician role focused on installing, configuring, and maintaining Packsize equipment at customer sites in the Kansas City area. Responsibilities include scheduling at job sites, troubleshooting using technical drawings, cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering, performing routine maintenance and emergency services, conducting start-up testing, delivering customer training on product features, analyzing KPI data to identify machine performance issues, and generating detailed technical reports. Requires strong customer service orientation, ability to work independently, safety compliance, and capacity to communicate effectively with both Packsize and customer personnel. Travel to customer facilities and on-call availability are expected; role involves working in production/manufacturing environments and handling equipment up to 50 lbs with potential for on-site installation and training.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or Vocational Training or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related area preferred
- Experience with mechanical platforms
- Ability to travel domestically
- Experience with basic Microsoft Office tools is helpful
- Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
