Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in manufacturing equipment while conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Perform precise mechanical adjustments, execute preventive maintenance schedules, and document all work performed and parts used. Assist with installations, rebuilds, and calibrations on CNC, Swiss lathe, DMG milling centers, stamping presses, and automated systems. Maintain spare parts inventory and collaborate with production and quality teams to reduce downtime and improve throughput. Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized. Full-time, 8-12 hour shifts in Endicott, NY; pay $22-$30/hr based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years experience as a maintenance technician or similar.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Overtime/weekend work may be required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting CNC, Swiss lathe, DMG milling centers, stamping presses, automated systems, and/ or Radsok equipment (maintenance focus).
- Basic PLC troubleshooting or mechatronics training; NIMS or equivalent certifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of automation equipment and controls.
