Job Summary
Construct moderately complex machines and assemblies independently, producing and disassembling equipment while rebuilding and repairing units with hand and power tools. Operate various machines and tools to assist assembly, transport assemblies using forklifts and cranes, and analyze blueprints to prepare parts for building. Troubleshoot and test machines during and after assembly, verify conformance to blueprints with measuring instruments, and weld materials as required. Practice effective 5S, participate in regular team audits, and maintain zero lost time through strict safety protocols. Requires proven ability to master Machine Technician 1 role, math skills, and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to master machine technician 1 role
- Ability to receive forklift license and learn to operate cranes and man-lifts
- Must have math skills and ability to utilize various measurement tools
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, and flexible
- Ability to remain calm and determined to attain goals
- High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
- Documentation of a current drug screen must be provided prior to start date
