Job Summary
Support Wire EDM operations by preparing and setting up production jobs, loading build plates into CNC mills, and operating established production programs. Unload completed parts, inspect for defects, and prepare tooling plates for surface grinding. Assist operators with setups, tooling changes, and verify availability of tools, fixtures, and materials before production begins. Deburr, clean, and organize parts and fixtures while maintaining accurate production records and completing required manufacturing documentation. Perform routine machine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and material handling using forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintain a clean, safe work environment using 5S principles and follow all safety procedures and quality standards. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm with occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machining processes
- Ability to read work instructions and manufacturing documentation
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Availability for occasional overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
