Job Summary
Machine Shop Material Handler role focusing on pulling, issuing, sawing, staging, and returning raw materials; maintaining inventory accuracy and organization; collaborating with Lead Machinist and Production Coordination to meet material needs; ensuring labeling, traceability, and proper paperwork in EPICOR; maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient shop environment while upholding the company's 'Own It' mindset and ESOP culture.
Required Qualifications
- Understand FIFO inventory method
- Working knowledge of Epicor and Microsoft software
- Working knowledge of saws, cutting speeds/feeds, and blade selection
- Reading and interpreting engineering prints
- Able to use measuring tools
- Mechanical aptitude and trainability
- Ability to lift heavy loads
- Able to learn from mistakes and improve
- Experience with welding or light machining preferred
- Able to maintain accurate records in EPICOR
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
