Machine Shop Manager/Site Leader

Job Summary
Lead daily machine shop operations, drive Lean transformation and continuous improvement, develop and coach team members, own KPIs for productivity, quality, and safety, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and quality, and drive adoption of new technologies and automation to position the Madison, NH facility as an industry leader in manufacturing excellence. The role requires overseeing operations and personnel, fostering accountability, and building a high-performing culture; the position reports to senior leadership and is an on-site leadership role with strict trade compliance considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred — equivalent relevant experience will be considered
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership
- Proven success implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methodologies with measurable impact
- Strong history of building cohesive teams and developing leaders
- Experience in machine shop operations (CNC machining, tooling, or precision manufacturing)
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and change management skills
