Job Summary
Machine Sales Representative responsible for the strategic planning, retail sales, and marketing for an assigned customer account list. Develops, implements, and executes a marketing plan for an assigned customer base; delivers professional sales presentations and quotations; expands the customer database; maintains a machine ownership list for customers; submits monthly activity summaries; provides financial counseling to facilitate sales; generates cold calls to develop new accounts; controls expenses; potential opportunity to develop the position as a Hybrid MSR and technical role involving island-wide machine deliveries and familiarizations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Drivers License with a good driving record.
- Must have a minimum of 7 years industry and product specific sales experience.
- Must have PC skills.
- Must possess extensive Caterpillar product knowledge in construction and compact equipment.
- Must be responsive to specific market trends and needs through proactive, direct customer contact.
