Job Summary
Set up CNC machinery according to blueprints and load raw materials for drilling, grinding, and milling tasks. Translate instructions into computer commands while inspecting finished products against requirements to ensure accuracy. Check and maintain equipment daily, clean the work area, and follow all safety guidelines. Capable of lifting up to 75lbs and must demonstrate knowledge of measuring devices such as calipers and machinist scales. This role supports PTMW's pre-fabrication team on a C shift from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday through Saturday, with every other Wednesday off.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge & proper use of measuring devices such as calipers, square, protractor and reading a machinist scale
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong mathematic skills including fractional/decimal conversion
- Capable of lifting up to 75lbs
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical capacity test and breath alcohol test
