Job Summary
Machine Operators to join Tower Labs’ Production Team in Centerbrook, CT or Essex, CT, with training provided to learn tableting and packaging in the pharmaceutical industry. Operate and set up high-speed automated tablet presses and packager production line, perform in-process testing and complete the necessary paperwork, and ensure safe, compliant production under cGMP guidelines. Uniforms provided; benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, FSA/HSA, paid time off, and more. Shift options include day and evening/night full-time schedules.
Required Qualifications
- No experience required; training provided
- Dependability
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and follow directions and complete paperwork
- Effective communication in English
- Ability to concentrate and work under pressure
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with motivation
- Ability to stand for entire shift, walk, bend, reach, climb ladder
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
