Job Summary
Operate MIG welding equipment to weld band saw blades, set up automated welding machines and tooling, and perform quality checks. Read industrial blueprints, use calipers and micrometers, and follow SPCs as part of manufacturing a precision product. Maintain a clean work area, assist with lean and safety training, cross-train to other roles as needed, and input data into ERP systems. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with lift assist), work with basic math, and communicate in English. Willingness to participate in training for forklift certification and to support team-oriented manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification (or ability to become certified)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds alone or up to 100 pounds with lift assist
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Must be able to perform basic math
- Must be able to input data into ERP system
- Must be able to speak and read English
