Job Summary
Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications while monitoring performance and adjusting as needed. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major malfunctions, following all safety guidelines and company procedures. Maintain accurate production and quality records and work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. This role includes the ability to work various overtime as business needs require and crosstrain in other areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP's and Quality Plan
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to work various overtime as business needs require
- Crosstrain in other areas as needed
- Must be available for 2nd shift, 3:00pm to 11:00pm
- Must be available for 3rd shift, 11:00pm to 7:00am
- Must be available for 1st shift training from 7:00am to 3:00pm for estimated 2 to 4 weeks
- Must be fully on-site in Duncansville, PA
