Job Summary
Operate machines and run assigned production for engineered fasteners, performing machine diagnostics to troubleshoot stoppages and execute tooling repairs. Conduct batch checks with gauges to verify part quality, perform documented SPC checks, and complete daily shift requirements for maintenance and machine upkeep. Execute material handling by staging and moving coils and tubs, while utilizing the ERP system for labor reporting and Redzone for downtime coding. Ensure 1st piece approvals are completed and communicate critical information through required logs and teamwork protocols. Work the weekend shift Friday-Sunday from 6pm to 6am.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to promote teamwork
- Ability to read blueprints and gauging instruments (calipers/micrometers)
- Competent in basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, simple, geometry)
- Ability to anticipate actions needed and quickly adapt to change
- Shows basic mechanical aptitude
- General computer skills
- Good work history
- Extremely good attendance
- Dependable
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Cleanliness and detail oriented
- Good safety practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday 6pm-6am)
