Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and troubleshooting minor issues to hit daily production goals. Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments, inspect finished products, and follow safety procedures to maintain a clean workspace. Work on a Wednesday through Saturday night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with overtime opportunities and a 24% shift differential. No prior press experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Schedule is Wednesday – Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours/week
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
