Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and troubleshooting minor issues to keep production moving. Maintain smooth machine performance through adjustments, inspect finished products against standards, and follow safety procedures to ensure a clean workspace. Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals on a Wednesday through Saturday night shift. No press experience required; training provided for those with general machinery experience.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
