Job Summary
Perform setup and complete production schedules by following press brake programs, operating machines to add bends, PEM fasteners, and mask/unmask sheetmetal parts. Operate punch machines and troubleshoot defective processes while accurately reporting production information to supervisors. Keep work areas clean and orderly, support ISO Quality System and Continuous Improvement efforts, and identify safety hazards. Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and follow instructions from supervisors, engineers, and managers. Work in a fast-paced environment capable of lifting 50 lbs, reading blueprints, and using measuring instruments. Requires standing for entire shifts including overtime; forklift operation ability preferred. High school diploma required with two years of sheetmetal fabrication experience preferred. - Ability to use calipers and other measuring instruments
- Ability to read blue prints
- Ability to perform job function while standing for an entire shift, including overtime when necessary
- Ability to operator a forklift
- Ability to work overtime when required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more year's of sheetmetal fabrication experience preferred
- CNC operation experience a plus
