Job Summary
Load materials, operate machinery, monitor production output, and apply cement throughout the process. Perform normal cutoff roll operations, restart boilers and compressors as needed, and blast rolls when required. Prepare finished products for packaging and shipment while assisting in training team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain housekeeping standards and address minor operational issues independently. This 3rd shift role (Sunday night through Thursday night, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) requires a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift and handle production materials. Candidates must follow all safety policies, wear PPE, and work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to operate production equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- High level of attention to quality and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift, move, pack, and handle production materials and finished goods throughout the shift
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
