Job Summary

Monitor production machinery and maintain flow by supplying raw materials, performing minor servicing, and executing equipment changeovers while adhering to GMPs and sanitation standards. Read schedules, track downtime, and record production data to ensure quality and efficiency. Identify visual and auditory cues for machine issues, collaborate with departments to reduce waste, and complete assigned cross-training or inventory tasks. Requires forklift certification, ability to work under pressure, and adherence to strict safety protocols in a fast-paced plant environment.

Required Qualifications

High School Certification or equivalent
Ability to read, understand, and adhere to a production manufacturing schedule
Ability to read imperial and metric measurements
Adeptness in basic mathematical abilities
Skill in understanding and interpreting gauges, thermometers, and weight measurements
Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment
Demonstrates the ability to gain a firm understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
Formal training in areas such as WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene
Forklift certification
Problem-Solving Skills – ability to troubleshoot machinery and production issues efficiently
Teamwork – Collaboration with coworkers to achieve production targets
Documentation Skills – accurate recording of production data
Safety Awareness – knowledge of safety protocols, hazard identification, and adherence to safety regulations
Communication Skills – Effective verbal and written communication with team members and supervisors
Ability to understand visual and auditory cues to identify production or machine related issues
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Attention to detail
Ability to adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures
Ability to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
