Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for adhering to health and safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices while operating machinery in a fast-paced beverage production environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining production flow, performing minor machine maintenance, ensuring food quality and safety standards, documenting production and quality records, and collaborating with teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste. The ideal candidate should have experience in beverage production, problem-solving skills, and teamwork capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment
- Demonstrates understanding of production machinery
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Basic mathematical abilities
- Skill in interpreting gauges, thermometers, and weight measurements
- Formal training in WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene preferred
- Forklift certification may be required
