Job Summary
Operate reel-to-reel web handling platforms to treat membranes with antibody solutions for lateral flow device production. Execute processes according to Standard Operating Procedures, record batch data, and manage machine setup and configuration. Perform initial troubleshooting of production issues, load and unload membrane reels, and handle antibody solutions while monitoring ongoing runs. Meet daily and weekly production objectives, support shift start-up meetings, and maintain strict adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies. Lift 20-30 pounds unassisted and notify supervisors of hazardous conditions. Requires 1 year of relevant experience, basic computer skills, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Aptitude(experience troubleshooting machines, cars, equipment, etc)
- Troubleshooting abilities-express some ability to problem solve. Ask for specific examples.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly diverse, team oriented, work environment.
- Basic computer and analytical skills.
- Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks
- Self-motivated, must have ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient learner with new tasks and methods.
- Attention to Detail.
- Associate degree and/or relevant technical training
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Fundamental computer skills
- Perform basic math calculations
- 1 year relevant experience required
- Stable employment and/or education within the last 3-5 years
- Ability to lift 20-30 pounds unassisted
- Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)
- Shift: 1st - 6am-2:30pm
- Shift: 2nd - 2pm-10:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Any candidates with related experience to machine operator roles would be preferred.
- Some laboratory and/or pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing experience preferred.
