Job Summary
Process, handle, and pack material while operating tinning line machines in the hot tin dip facility. Identify hazards, adhere to Job Safety Analyses, and wear proper PPE at all times. Uphold management standards and communicate with team members to facilitate safe, productive processing in accordance with Quality Assurance controls. Read customer specifications, posted notices, and QA alerts. Requires two years of industrial machinery experience, Sit Down forklift certification, and proficiency with banders and hand tools. Full compliance with company policies, including safety, attendance, and dress code. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential to move to the second shift after one year.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in the use/operation of industrial machinery
- Certified to operate Sit Down forklifts
- Competent in the use of banders/hand tools
- Competent in basic math
- Competent with basic measuring equipment
- Ability to multitask in all areas of production
- Ability to read and understand customer specifications, posted notices, and QA Alerts
- Commitment to established values and culture of Wieland
- Full compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures, i.e., safety, attendance, dress code, etc
- Ability to work 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) after one year in role
