Machine Operator Through-Hole/Wavesolder/Selective Wave - Afternoon Shift

Job Summary
Set up, operate, and maintain wave soldering equipment per work instructions and maintenance schedules. Control flux and solder materials to ensure proper application and product quality standards. Perform cursory inspections, troubleshoot processes, and assist in FAI, post-wave inspection, and product cleaning. Coordinate with engineering for new recipe setups and cooperate with inspectors on quality issues. Conduct daily maintenance, maintain workstation cleanliness, and follow all safety protocols and SOPs. Work the afternoon shift (3:30 PM–12 AM) in a controlled manufacturing environment, lifting up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office Applications, Windows OS, Machine specific software/programs)
- Ability to navigate computers across older/newer OS
- Ability to navigate programs to operate a machine
- Good written and verbal communication in business English
- Ability to work with customers, within a team
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely work with solder, chemicals using proper personal protective equipment
- Ability to work independently or in team environment
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow assembly documentation, standard operating procedures, visual aids, etc.
- Ability to perform tasks up to standard
- Awareness of safety protocols
- Ability to remain attentive to moving equipment and processes in a production environment
- Good detail orientation and time management skills
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Color identification

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in wave soldering
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly
- SMT/TH or Mix Tech assembly (hand soldering, inspection, rework, mechanical assembly skills)
- Worked in Electronics or Manufacturing companies
- Soldering TH and SMT components
- Previous IPC training/ familiarity with IPC standards
- Relevant experience
