Machine Operator - Swing Shift

Job Summary
Operate injection molding machine to produce quality molded parts. Responsibilities include reading and following Production Operating Instructions, running the machine at target cycle time, monitoring for malfunctions, reporting issues, verifying part quality, recording rejects, handling processes per POI and client quality standards (including trimming, sanding, cutting, assembling, packaging), keeping accurate part counts, completing work orders and labels, and coordinating with teammates and supervisors to ensure smooth shift operations. The role emphasizes attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a swing-shift manufacturing environment with non-climate-controlled conditions. Benefits are listed and include medical/dental/vision and other coverage; OT is available on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, understand and verbally communicate work instructions.
- Must be able to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Must possess basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Must be able to manually cycle machine by opening and closing gate.
- Must be able to lift, reach, and pull up to 25 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to stand for long (at least 8) hours.
- Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments, including temperatures reaching up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit occasionally
