Job Summary
Operate and monitor production equipment to meet daily output targets while performing pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure machinery is clean, functional, and safe. Adjust machine settings for quality, conduct in-process checks, and manage product changeovers and line setups. Maintain accurate production records, assist with material handling, and perform basic preventative maintenance like cleaning and lubricating. Ensure a clean workspace compliant with OSHA guidelines while supporting continuous production flow. This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds
- Repetitive movements including bending, reaching, and lifting
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on production environment
- Ability to work in environments with noise, machinery, and moving equipment
Desired Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience operating production or manufacturing equipment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
