Job Summary
Operate and maintain machines and equipment while adhering to all quality and safety standards. Perform packing, assembly, labeling, and quality tests per ISO procedures following detailed work orders. Resolve simple problems by following established processes and transmit basic information to carry out duties. Receive direct supervision for routine work and train other team members as directed. Work Sunday through Thursday from 9:45pm to 6am at a rate of $17.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. A $1500 retention bonus is available after six months of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic math and reading/writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Capability to safely operate and handle light to medium machinery
- Ability to maintain productive working relationships in a team-oriented environment
- Openness to receiving guidance, feedback, and constructive instructions from supervisors
- Adherence to all quality and safety standards
- Compliance with all required safety practices and use of PPE
- Ability to follow work order instructions
- Ability to perform labeling requirements
- Ability to perform quality tests per ISO procedures
- Ability to adhere to productivity standards
- Ability to resolve a variety of simple problems of limited complexity by following highly detailed instructions or procedures
- Ability to transmit and receive basic information related to role in order to carry out duties
- Ability to learn policies and procedures and how to apply them to issues experienced in routine activities
- Ability to learn and closely follow established processes and directions
- Ability to receive direct supervision for routine work, new projects or assignments
- Ability to train other team members as directed by supervisor or lead
