Machine Operator - STRU

Job Summary
Create nested parts packages and upload them to production equipment while managing incoming material inventory. Support CNC operators and supervisors in daily operations, including selecting electrodes, adjusting gas pressure, and striking arcs to cut through metal. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, and ensure all work adheres to QA-QC standards and blueprint specifications. Work independently or as part of a team in conditions with varying temperatures and noise levels above 90 decibels. This first-shift role requires proficiency in English or Spanish and familiarity with metal identification for structural steel, aluminum, and sheet metal.
Required Qualifications
- Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
- Knowledgeable in metal identification as required (Structural Steel, Aluminum, Pipe, Sheet Metal)
