Job Summary
Set up machines, adjust for product changes, and run film through packing lines while verifying seal integrity, code dates, and case labels. Perform pre-operational inspections, conduct CCP checks, and report equipment failures or safety risks immediately. Monitor production output, record weights and efficiency data, and coordinate crew positioning for line starts and stops. Change film, clean equipment, and maintain a safe workspace by enforcing food safety standards and coordinating break rotations. Train new staff, coach existing employees, and perform shift hand-offs with incoming operators.
