Job Summary
Machine Operator role involving operation of automated production equipment, diagnosing machinery failures, performing preventative maintenance, and sanitizing related equipment. Requires flexibility to rotate assignments, monitor equipment and product quality, maintain a safe work environment, and master enterprise software for data input, retrieval, and reporting. Adheres to company policies and procedures, supports production schedules, quality controls, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Strong emphasis on teamwork, attention to order fulfillment, and continuous improvement in a highly collaborative production setting.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years’ experience as a technician and/or formal training with certificate of completion
- Experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; welding, electronics, electrical repairs, industrial equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs
- Two (2) years as machine operator in a manufacturing environment providing documentation of said responsibilities
- Six (6) months as a Production Helper with good work/disciplinary/attendance record
- High School diploma or equivalency (GED) plus additional no less than a 9/12 month vocational/technical certification courses completion
- Equivalent military training with provided (DD214), other related technical training, or (1) or more years of college education (minimum 45 earned college credits) may be substituted for Vocational Technical Training
- Completion of the AIB correspondence course
