Job Summary
Set up machines at the start of the shift and perform regular checks while monitoring performance to identify and troubleshoot issues. Operate equipment according to production specifications and safety guidelines, inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Assemble goods complying with production specifications and follow schedules to meet daily production requirements. Keep accurate records for the production schedule and on Red Zone, clean up spills immediately, and maintain a clean, organized environment. Lift 30-pound boxes regularly and dump products to keep the line running. Report defects, violations, and equipment malfunctions to the line leader immediately. Work five days a week from Monday to Friday in eight to ten hour shifts with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work five days eight to ten hours shifts from Monday to Fridays and overtime hours as needed
- Availability of working on Saturdays as per the department schedule
- Knowledge of Parity software
- Must be able to lift 30-pound boxes regularly
- Must be able to work in Hot and Cold environments
- Must be able to work in noisy areas
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand production instructions, and diagrams
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently at manual tasks and machine operation in a food production environment
- Basic math skills for calculating production needs
