Job Summary
Set up, operate, and monitor production machines while performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues to ensure quality output. Adjust settings, change tools, and follow blueprints to complete tasks accurately, then inspect parts to specifications. Oversee training for junior operators and communicate with team members to maintain continuous production with minimal waste. Clean machinery, adhere to safety regulations, and follow reporting procedures for quality control and recordkeeping.
Required Qualifications
- Machine Operator Experience
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing facility
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Detail-oriented
- Knowledge of production and plant processes
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision
- Reliable individual with an excellent time and attendance record
