Job Summary
Machine Operator for Sheet Laser on 2nd shift responsible for operating sheet/laser equipment, reading blueprints, and fabricating metal parts using nesting software, laser/metal finishing equipment, and CNC press brake. Requires experience with nesting software, reading blueprints, tape measures and calipers; able to handle materials such as stainless, galvanized, aluminum and mild steel; attention to detail; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; and high school diploma or GED preferred. Compensation includes a target hourly range of $22-$27 with a $3 shift differential, full-time benefits, and potential bonuses. Located in Delano, MN on 2nd shift (hours: Mon-Thu, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in laser related machining skills
- Experience with nesting software
- Previous laser, CNC press brake fabrication experience and/or schooling required
- Must understand blue prints, read a tape measure, use a caliper
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, read a tape measure, follow written instructions
