Job Summary
Push cart of panels to machine, remove panels from stacks, and position flanges under sewing machine feet. Check tickets for sizing, activate machines to sew flanges and overcast edges, and insert legal labels and production tickets. Add thread, replace needles, oil machines, and repair thread breaks or scrap as needed. Observe stitching for defects, repair issues, and check panels for material flaws before and after sewing. Notify production supervisors of machine malfunctions and maintain work area cleanliness. Requires ability to sort items, follow work instructions and verbal directives, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced team environment.
