Job Summary
Operate various production equipment in the Spool Department while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Fill out written production reports and report all activities to the Production Supervisor. Maintain and operate forklifts or other power industrial trucks as authorized. Perform various duties as assigned and demonstrate dependability, reliability, and a positive work attitude. Communicate effectively with internal personnel and be willing to work overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, HSED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understand and utilize basic math skills
- Basic reading and writing
- Read measurement and gauge instruments
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to maintain and be authorized to operate forklift and/or other power industrial trucks
- Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and positive work attitude
- Communicate effectively with various internal personnel
- Willing to work overtime
