Job Summary
Operate equipment to produce finished goods to production specifications, including setting machines up to SOC and using computer systems to adjust run conditions. Perform line start-up and shut-down procedures while following standard operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient line operation. Safely stop equipment during normal conditions and emergencies, and operate lab equipment to test film samples using production reporting systems. Requires 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, afternoon shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and ability to lift 40lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing industry as the main operator of one or multiple processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
- High awareness toward safety
- Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking
- Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team
- Must have good communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- College-level courses or trade school
- Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment
