Job Summary
Operate and monitor one Stake Flag machine to achieve production and quality goals while minimizing downtime and scrap. Troubleshoot minor machine issues, escalate complex problems to the Stake Flag Pod Technician, and load raw materials, supplies, and package finished products according to shop order specifications. Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and palletizing of finished products, perform First Article Inspections during changeovers, and conduct quality checks to accurately record production data. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by communicating material needs, quality concerns, and safety issues to supervisors. This role requires working 12-hour rotating day/night shifts and includes one month of training in safety, quality, and production courses.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of production schedules, quality standards, and productivity goals
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, and lifting up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work in environments with occasional dust, temperature fluctuations, and mild chemical exposure
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
